Paid sick leave is an urgently required health intervention. It’s necessary, now. It also isn’t rocket science. It needs to be immediate, seamless, and provide for a worker’s full pay. We’ve been asking for this for a year. Let’s just get it done.

The Covid-19 Vaccines are safe and effective. Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are both mRNA vaccines, which teaches our cells to make antibodies and protect us from the virus. Vaccinations are an important and useful measure to keep ourselves and others safe.

Just like individuals are the sum of their lived experiences, countries must reconcile that same fact. The past is who we are today, but doesn’t need to be all we are tomorrow. #CanadaDay #CanadaDay2021
