Carteret High School held a beautiful Black History Month Celebration with poetry readings, a Rampage Step Squad performance, Afro-Caribbean dancing, Keynotes and Breakout Sessions with hip hop artist, Dee-1 and Ms. Tiera Williams, the USA's Miss District of Columbia 2023.

Students from CHS attended the Young Women's Empowerment Conference at Montclair University. The college experience was discussed, also dialogues & panels about leadership, relationships and womanhood. There was a talent & fashion show & poetry. The students had a fabulous time!!
