Great listen if you care about the ethics of scientific reporting, the publish or perish culture in academia and/or anti-fat bias in "public health" policy and pop culture. Plus Aubrey Gordon isn’t here and @RottenInDenmark are delightful to listen to as always.

Met one of our new lab members in person for the first time today and her first words were “you actually look like your website photo!” Not sure if I should feel flattered or too young for academia. #AcademicTwitter

Proud to work with fantastic colleagues in the UMN Medical School CWIMS Early Pathways Program to get out this framework for advancing equity in academic medicine and science for early career female faculty following the COVID 19 pandemic sciencedirect.com/science/articl… #WomenInMedicine

Super proud to contribute to this study with an incredible group of female colleagues and mentors. What started as a way to share our perspectives evolved into a call for action and way forward.

And check out this feature in Spectrum (Autism Research News) covering our findings. I loved @AHalladayASF 's quote: “It’s taking one of the most established knowns about autism and turning it on its head" IBIS Network spectrumnews.org/news/autisms-s…

Really interesting article showing that the rate of diagnosed ASD is not the same as the rate of people meeting diagnostic threshold on the ADOS. More evidence supporting a need to rethink nuanced autistic presentations and evaluate sex-based measurement bias.
