I had some family time earlier in the break (I needed it!) and will be celebrating my husband tomorrow on his birthday, but I’m taking a little time to read this gem by Brené Brown. It’s so nice to be able to read something for myself instead of for my dissertation!

My colleagues and I presented at the VESA Conference for our first time and it was great! We had people asking how they could come work for our district and saying they didn’t want to stay for the last session but were so glad they did. What an honor to hear that feedback!

I’m super excited to attend Liberty University’s Doctoral Studies Hooding Ceremony on Thursday! It’s the first of two commencement ceremonies in May for the Ward family. Mom on the 9th, Kyle on the 29th!

Yesterday was a great day! Thanks to my husband, son, and parents for coming out to support me.
