So I hope everyone paying attention is seeing the forest. Cutting medicare reimbursements for doctors. Check. Capping nursing salaries check. Preventing insurance companies from posting BILLIONS of dollars in profit PER QUARTER. No check. What's going wrong here? CMSGov ?

A light on this dark day: the future of medicine is bright with these minds. This was the first residency class I saw through entirely as their APD. We all grew so much together, and I am so honored to have had this experience with you! Best of luck UMass Emergency Med!!

🧵of 🧵 We've covered several sutures now. Next is Monocryl (or poliglecaprone 25). It was designed for skin and subcutaneous tissues, and is still used mostly for that, but is also used in a number of other settings. We will go over properties, uses, etc (the usual things...)

I can’t say enough about the need to perform a good skin exam and sometimes as in the case you might need to re-evaluate the skin! #MedTwitter #foamed UMass Emergency Med Richard Church Academic Life in EM

How a valuable possession slowly damaged a young man's nerve 1. 30-year-old Sidh consulted me with severe sharp shooting #pain from right buttock to the leg & foot for 3 months. Pain was more while sitting and lesser while standing or walking. Pain increased on lying down.
