So excited about today's @EFFEXT_project / Migration Politics and Governance - IMISCOE SC session where we discussed the consequences of EU policies in African partner countries. It left me very inspired, and served as a good reminder of the importance to critically assess and unpack "external" policy effects.

Having fun with DALL-E Artificial Intelligence to generate images for migration research communication (though I may have to practice a bit more).

Thanks to IFI at AUB for hosting what is already an excellent full-day workshop, stirring policy-practitioner-researcher dialogue on migration management issues and needs in Lebanon.

Thanks to Universitetet i Bergen for a brilliant & insightful seminar on the use of #ChatGPT in education and research. I now feel confident we really have to get going, and find ways of incorporating - in an ethically sound way - #AI tools in our work as researchers, writers and lecturers.

Spoke with Bianca Carrera @EUobserver about the type of migration partnerships the EU should be seeking with third countries: more balanced and reflecting the needs of migrants, host communities, as well as communities of origin euobserver.com/migration/1573…
