Great two hour hitting practice today organized and run by our wonderful captains. Great stuff Ella Kuenster Cate Barkdoll and Isabel Richmond. Just waiting on some dry fields one of these days.

The Huskies hit 7 HRs led by Ella Kuenster with 2 (3 hits and4 runs scored), Aria Hammerschmidt with 2 in her first 2 career Varsity at-bats, Martha Lipic with her 2nd of the year, Cate Barkdoll, and Rachel Buchta (4 hits as well) with her first career Varsity homerun.

The Huskies beat Nazareth tonight 13-2. Complete game effort by Jordan Alioto with no earned runs and 6 strikeouts. Both Ella Kuenster and Kelly Cortez went 3 for 3. Cate Barkdoll hit a HR. @KellyMRegan (2 RBIs) and Rachel Buchta both had two hits. TYLER BROCK had RBIs.

Congrats to senior Cate Barkdoll who was just selected as a member of the ICA Softball 2nd team All-State team. Cate had an incredible four year career in our softball program and we couldn’t be prouder for her to be recognized for such a prestigious honor.
