Yesterday I took an Uber to the doctor as I’m not comfortable driving in the large cities in Texas. After seeing my Orthopedic, the Uber driver that arrived saw me limping from my knee surgery and jumped out and opened my door for me. He was the tallest man I had ever seen. (1)

We had a great conversation on the hour drive and I found out he was from Senegal and he was a professional basketball player. When we arrived at our home, he backed into the driveway and jumped out again, helped me out of the car and told me I was the sweetest woman (2)

He asked for a hug and we laughed because I’m 5”4 and my forehead was right in line with his belt buckle. He told me he’d been feeling sad about the state of the world and I had made him happy. You never know what people are going through. I gave him a huge tip and (3)
