The BMJ Paul Garner I’m just going to leave this here. Dave Putrino speaks for the vast majority of the scientists & medics, with *actual* expertise who *actually* work in the IACC field researching and treating patients with LC&ME/CFS. Maybe time to get on board with the science? It’s long overdue

Honoured to be asked to speak at the Gathering/ Meitheal in Moville today about the Foyle on this National Famine Memorial Commemoration Day. Poignant to be in Moville where so many emigrated from. Water Guardians from as far as Columbia gave so much inspiration and hope

Are we doing this again? This opinion piece calls for HOPE as a treatment of ME/CFS. Or does it? In 2021, NICE reviewed interventions. We already have evidence. ➡️Graded exercise and CBT don’t cure ME/CFS& GET can be harmful. ➡️The lightning process is not recommended.

A great roundtable discussion in QUB about ecocentric structures to protect Lough Neagh. A complex problem but to quote the late great Edward Said, " Survival is about connections" Delighted that QUB gave a copy of my book to the Columbian delegation - well done Mo and Peter.

This is brilliant work from TeamClots colleagues Resia Pretorius & Mark Faghy.Again yet another paper clearly demonstrating pathobiological changes in PEM. The fact that some few individuals still believe PEM in LC &ME can be treated by reframing illness beliefs beggars belief

I’ve not been well this week & have been thinking about whether to continue making my living this way, my value as a disabled (autism+ADHD+PMDD) human & I’ve been comparing myself to others (never good). When I feel low I make miniature posies. I’ve been mocked for them before

Annoyed to find that Heathrow Airport is slipping back into its old bad habits, leaving disabled passengers still waiting for a high-lift to turn up so we can get off the plane, long after all others have disembarked. Other airports can manage. C’mon Heathrow, get a grip!
