Well done to the cross country runners from Y5/6. A special mention goes to the Y5 girls who came 2nd overall 🥈and Y6 boys who came 1st overall!! 🥇 Congratulations to all our runners who achieved many milestones both personally and for the school.

A huge well done to Y6 this morning for representing the Priory Catholic at The Remembrance Service in Eastwood. You were all so respectful and a credit to the school. A minutes of silence was also held in school across each class to also pay our respects.

Please join us for the first concert for the children's choir. We are hoping that it will raise donations for the bus to young voices where they will have the opportunity to sing with other schools at Sheffield Arena. All are welcome to come and enjoy.

This morning Walsingham class welcomed Father Paul into class to make some Christmas crafts. We made our own baby Jesus in a manger and then a Christingle. Thank you Father Paul for spending time with us.

This morning we held our Advent mass at church. Thank you to everyone who attended. It was a lovely service with great singing too.

Wow! What a fantastic job EYFS and KS1 did at putting on The Nativity over this last week. From everyone who watched, we were really impressed with how the children performed. Well done to all for sharing the story of Christmas for everyone to see.

We are immensely proud of our choir children who worked so hard to learn all the songs and performed so wonderfully taking part in Young Voices at Sheffield Utilita Arena! Well done to everyone for taking part.

After months of planning and preparation, our new KS2 timber trail has been installed. A huge thank you to the PTA and to all who have made donations in order for us to support this!! The PTA.

Thank you to everyone for your support at our bonnet parade this afternoon and your continued support for the PTA. A huge well done to Y3/4 for your Easter performance over this last week as well. We wish everyone a happy Easter and we’ll see you back on Tuesday 22nd April.

Our woodland path is now officially open. Well done to all the children who walked around the path for our sponsored walk today. A big thank you goes to McNeil’s construction who built our path.

KS2 had a lovely pilgrimage to Beauvale Priory on Tuesday. We were extremely impressed with how well all the children represented our school and marked our annual feast day. Well done to Y3,5 and 6. KS1 also had a lovely afternoon completing their pilgrimage around school too

Today Year 5 walked into Eastwood to be part of the VE Day celebrations and service. It was lovely to go into the community and remember those we lost and to celebrate Victory in Europe!

An amazing well done and congratulations goes to our Y5/6 classes for their summer production of their version of Seussical: The Musical. The entire cast put on a great show in front of all the parents at St John last night!!

The Priory Catholic Academy PTA held their annual Summer Fair today with great success. Thank you to everyone for your continued support even during a heat wave!!

Yesterday, we attended our end of year mass with Canon Paul. During the service, we said a huge thank you to Mr Harrison and Mrs Smith who will be leaving us at the end of the year. We thank them for everything they've contributed to our school . Good luck and we'll miss you!
