2/3) creating to support students’ success. The Advisory Group meeting included presidents from Cal State East Bay, Nevada State University, WNMU and Rhode Island College (virtually). This group engaged in productive discussions to move this work forward.

Today I stopped by the Pioneer Pathways: College Bound Camp. These high schoolers are being introduced to life as a college student. I hope to see them walking around our campus again in the future as Pioneers! Do any of our current students have advice to share? #csueb

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending services at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church (FAME) in #Oakland as part of CSU Super Sunday! Immersed in community, love, and joy, it was an absolute honor to attend this special service.

I had the chance to see Project Rebound's new space this Tuesday at their office warming party. What an incredible place for our students! I am so happy to see so many smiling faces in this new space, and I can't wait to go back!

This past Thursday, our Pioneer family welcomed CA Lieutenant Governor Eleni Kounalakis to our beautiful CSU East Bay Hayward Campus! Lt. Governor Kounalakis, we are grateful for your time, leadership, and commitment to student success—and we are proud to call you an honorary Pioneer!

In collaboration with the City of Hayward, East Bay proudly hosted our first "Education City Symposium". Hayward is already home to an impressive ecosystem of educational assets. Education is a cornerstone of this city, and East Bay is proud to be part of that legacy.

Yesterday, East Bay expanded our Guaranteed Admissions Program with Leadership Public Schools (LPS)! Thank you, Leadership Public Schools, for having me (and of course, Perry), and we look forward to seeing proud LPS alumni at East Bay! Go Royals! 💜🤍❤️🖤
