Misophonia can significantly impact individuals, requiring them to work harder than their neurotypical peers to navigate certain environments. What can help? Quiet, calm spaces, ear plugs, ear defenders, white noise, or minimising demands like group dining. #Misophonia

School staff: Make sure there are digital clocks in all the rooms you are using for exams. Students with dyscalculia (and there will be some even if you don't know who they are) will likely have difficulty reading an analogue clock and will be disadvantaged in exam timings.

So often the narrative is focused on negatives. ALL individuals have their points of strength and their challenges. We don’t need to showcase our skills and talents to be valued and understood. Accept and celebrate the uniqueness of every person. #Neurodivergence #Autistic

Societal norms often force autistic people to see themselves through the lens of neurotypical standards, rather than valuing their individuality. By defining difference as a deficiency society fails to appreciate & embrace neurodiversity which is crucial for true inclusivity.
