I’ll just say it: we have been fans of Houston Symphony for years but the March 29 concert was our all-time favorite. Dr. Smith’s solo was superb and nobody in our row moved during Tybalt’s Death movement in R & J. Thank you!

We are all walking mosaics of genetically distinct cells. Every cell acquires around one mutation each division after fertilization, resulting in a vast amount of genetic diversity across all the cells in our bodies by the time we are born.

This weekend saw the first reunion of my MD class Universität Ulm. I could not attend but was luckily kept in the loop by friends and colleagues. Can’t believe the Audimax is still colored in “poison green”.
