Had such a wonderful time RSC Solid State Chemistry Group Christmas Meeting 🎄. I was very proud to present my poster for the first as well. Thanks for the opportunity!

Lots of fun at the RSC Solid State Chemistry Group #SSCG23 earlier this week. So many fantastic talks and posters, and was great to catch up with some friends! Shout out to Craig too for winning a poster prize for his huge amount of synthetic work! #TeamFluoride Senn Group

Lead-free piezoelectrics you say? Delighted for Wesley to see this published! ↓↓↓ Separation of K and Bi3 displacements in a Pb-free, monoclinic piezo... sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Rosseinsky Group

Very excited for this recent work which has been included in the Editors' Highlights Nature Communications - I'm sure I speak for all the other authors when I say how rewarding it feels to see the work recognised in this way! nature.com/articles/s4146…

Team Fluoride from the Senn Group /Walton group are out at Beamline ID22 at European Synchrotron

It was a great experience to have joined Cat Crawford and Craig last week at ID22 European Synchrotron StructureOfMaterials. Grenoble just looks amazing with some of snow on top of The Alps 🗻🧪

And this week Craig and I were back out to the Institut Laue-Langevin for PND data to carry on our work on some Fluoride based perovskites - as always is an absolute pleasure working with Clemens on D2B! #postdocsontour

so happy to share our work on CuBiSeCl2 out now in Chemistry of Materials! this process has been a huge learning experience for me, but thoroughly enjoyable! thank you so much to everyone involved, you are all super stars 🌟Nataliia Hulai @JNewnham_ Batoul Almoussawi tinyurl.com/y7rv7f6t

And the week continues to get better with Cat Crawford first first author paper on "The Interplay of Electronic Configuration and Anion Ordering on the Magnetic Behavior of Hydroxyfluoride Diaspores" pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… just published in Inorganic Chemistry!

Excited to have our work on the Ni(OH)F diaspore as part of the Senn Group out in Inorganic Chemistry ! Many thanks to Institut Laue-Langevin and our computational collaborators at Durham for the fab experience working with you all! (And it’s my 1st ‘1st-author’ 😄) pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Come and work with us! We are currently recruiting a The Leverhulme Trust funded 2 year PDRA position in high pressure crystallography: warwick-careers.tal.net/vx/appcentre-e… co-supervised with Dr Nick Funnell ISIS Neutron and Muon Source and Sosso Group Warwick Chemistry Please RT!

Thanks Warwick Doctoral College for the opportunity to present my research poster to new PGRs! I really enjoyed the conversations with everyone yesterday ☺️

Another RSC Solid State Chemistry Group Christmas Meeting 🎄Thanks for coming round to my poster yesterday. Your interests, interactions, and conversations were genuinely meaningful. Lots of advice and ideas to look into as well! Have a great Christmas everyone! 💚❤️

Really great time attending and presenting at the RSC Solid State Chemistry Group Christmas meeting this week! Such a friendly meeting and a massive thank you to all the organisers for letting me waffle on about perovskites!
