If 🇺🇸 wants AAU & HS to co-exist but still improve experience for & health of players, March should be off-limits to AAU & NCAA should cancel April live period. Finish HS season w/out worrying about AAU tryouts. Rest. Enjoy spring break. Start AAU tryouts/practice on April 1.

Been in Spain for a week now. @acekonig wedding was a great start. Spent time in Girona, Santa Susanna, Sitges and now València. One could easily get used to this lifestyle.

Early morning visit to the Mercat Central de Valencia. Easy to see how one could get meat sweats. Every meat, fish, fruit, vegetable, pastry, bread known to Spain on full display. Going for a long walk to wear off my gastric voyage.

Couldn’t go 2 weeks without some basketball. Found the Valencia Basket Club Got to watch some individual workouts and got a couple of t-shirts.

Spent the last 2 days in Peniscola. Lots to see and do. Walked over 100 km so far on this trip. Weather has been good. 30-35 degrees most days. 1 day of light rain.

Finally got inducted into the BC Basketball HOF. It was an honour to be the 1st ⁦Langley Schools⁩ coach to be inducted. Sharing the experience with the 94/95 provincial champs ⁦Aldergrove Community Secondary School⁩ was very emotional. Many great memories from ⁦Brookswood Secondary⁩ as well.

I am no politician but It’s so disappointing to hear some districts (and even colleges) shut down for the holidays and won’t let teams in to practice for at least a week (or more), is there no better solution?
