BHS heads to Myrtle Beach for the Mingo Bay, after taking last nights game over Liberty 4-0. That win puts the Cats are in the drivers seat in Region 1-AA. #UnfinishedBusiness

2023 Summer Workout schedule.

Since tomorrow is an e-learning day we will not have practice. Practice is canceled for 1/9/24.

We will not practice on January 15th as originally stated on the calendar.

Practice will be at the field and will be over by 4:15.

Practice will be held in the shop today. We will hit and be done around 4:15. The shop is located on the backside of the high school between the stadium and school.

Physicals will be held Mon, Jan 22nd, after school. Students will report to BHS Gym following school with health forms completed. Physicals are $10 cash. All athletes trying out for spring-sports that have not already obtained one must have a physical performed prior to tryouts.

Tryouts will now be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week. Rain caused the company redoing the field to be delayed and won’t be able to do it until Monday.

Blacksburg High's baseball team with two state records in Thurs. night's 44-0 win over Gvl Tech Charter: most runs-game (snapping Andrews' mark of 43 in '77) and most runs-inning--30 in the 1st (pvs, 28, Choppee in '00). Matty Cody hit for the cycle and picked-up the win, too.

Because of the rain forecasted, Fridays games against Chesnee have been moved to Wednesday at 5:30 and 7:30.
