Say you read a paper that intersects two areas of your expertise. And that paper is terrible. Do you: 1. blast it on social media 2. politely email the authors 3. close the window and try to forget it even exists ?

I've been a python lady for years now but recently got back into R for a specific project. And this complaint rings true all these years later.

The Nashville Sounds (AAA team for the Brewers) have home games that overlap with JSM this year. And its bring your dog to the stadium on that Tuesday night. So... I will be doing that.

In an MR a coworker asked why I used rbind() instead of dplyr::bind_rows() And the actual answer is that I learned R before dplyr existed so I default to base R. And why is bind_rows better? rbind is fewer characters......

This whole paper is a hot mess. But Table 2 is really interesting (though the table is incomplete since it doesn't adjust for # of locations differences etc). In what circumstances can we trust cell phone data? Are there studies with good protocols in this area?

I use an app to practice ASL and take daily quizzes. Sometimes I misclick and then I have to spend a week with it constantly reminding me how to finger spell table.
