Day 17 of calving season 2020. Struggled in the past to get good breed back in our herd. This being the second year of moving the calving back to April, I was hoping for good results. Probably jinx the remainder of the season but we have 112 out of 175 calved as of this morning

Dont normally tag until they at least stand up!! But, by this evening probably wont catch her!

Bees are busy this evening! Unfortunately not just beneficials in the field!

Cowfallow vs. Chemfallow

The rain went all around us the last couple weeks. I told the guys to start the swather. 2 hours later look what happens!!!

Not very picturess to look at. Lost its bloom in a short time!! Could be an early harvest!!

Forage trit all baled up!! Hard to believe we took the yearlings off on April 5. Good yield!! Thanks doublepranch for use of the baler!!
