I recently ordered business cards for my new position here at Canada in Chicago. At my request, the cards were delayed because I wanted to make sure my twitter handle was on them. Not sure that was the best move anymore.

I mean, I think #Montreal should be higher and I'm enjoying #Chicago as least as much as I liked #WashingtonDC, but I'll take what I can get.

Someone somehow managed to get me a bottle of Stoney Tangawizi, a The Coca-Cola Co. product, and I am at once in heaven, and heartbroken that I cannot easily get this magical beverage in North America.

Every year, Nova Scotia provides Boston with its official yuletide tree as a thank you for the city's response to the 1917 #HalifaxExplosion An estimated 2,000 people died & 9,000 more were hurt. Aid from #Boston was the 1st to arrive, and the response has not been forgotten.

On "diversity day"Lycée Français de Chicago I read my daughter's class the Hockey Sweater & we watched National Film Board of Canada La Chandail. Proud to talk about being from #Montreal #Canada & wear my Canadiens Montréal gear. Other than my daughter, not 1 kid could identify what I was holding as a hockey stick!

The #Chicago ⁦Griffin Museum of Science and Industry⁩ has a #Canada themed #christmas tree! Complete with Canadiana like canoes, lumberjacks, hockey players, and maple leafs. Just missing some syrup!

Excited to be learning more about #Quantum at #qwc2022. I’m especially interested in meeting Canadians in the field and those from the #Chicago area. There are great connections to be made!

Yesterday at #qwc2022 I met with Quantropi Inc, a highly-innovative Canadian company based in #Ottawa doing fascinating work with #quantum technology. I even got to be their first quantum selfie of the day!
