After Ruddigore Newcastle Theatre Royal, I found Kurt Schwitters's Merzbarn Hatton Gallery, a fragment of what was intended as a whole-room installation, rescued from ruin by his advocates Fine Art NCL. Worlds collide as Schwitters also wrote an opera (staged Spectra Ensemble in 2017).
