Parts of our area have received five to six inches of rain over the past 48 hours, resulting in widespread flooding. Please don't try to drive through flooded roads. It's very difficult to see the depth of the water, especially at night. #TurnAroundDontDrown

RAINFALL TOTALS For the week are approaching half a foot in some locations. One hot spot was in Chester, Delaware and northern New Castle Counties. The other has been in northern Cumberland over into northwestern Atlantic Counties. Flash flooding has occurred in these areas.
