Excited to share our first #preprint with #synthetic yeast. Great collaboration with Lena Hochrein showing for the first time that L-SCRaMbLE is active on chromosome scale! biorxiv.org/content/10.110… work by talented students Timon Lindeboom Mar_07 Cedric K. Brinkmann Adán Ramírez Rojas

Inspired by our first paper about synthetic sRNAs we looked into predicting optimal seed sequences for sRNAs. The story is finally out doi.org/10.1093/bioinf…. Fruitful collaboration with Bork Berghoff. First purely computational paper of the lab and first paper of Cedric K. Brinkmann!

Happy to see our Nanopore sequencing workflow for construct validation published. Congratulations Adán Ramírez Rojas, Cedric K. Brinkmann and the one and only Tania pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… Big thanks Max Planck Digital Library for funding Open Access. We also pulled together a protocol doi.org/10.48550/arXiv…

Very excited to share my first corresponding & shared first author preprint (together with Clemens Böhm) about developing cell-free extracts from chloroplasts of different plant species for rapid prototyping to accelerate #plantsynbio in the chloroplast: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Very excited to share the preprint of a big chapter of my PhD, where I am corresponding & shared first author (together with Tanguy Chotel) about advancing #chloroplast #synbio through high-throughput plastome engineering of #Chlamydomonas: Below in a 🧵: biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Excited to share my first corresponding & co-first author paper with Clemens Böhm! We developed cell-free extracts from chloroplasts of various plant species for rapid prototyping, accelerating #plantSynBio in chloroplasts. 🌿 Check it out! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

It was an amazing experience to attend the Grand Jamboree and see all the incredible ideas! We are thrilled to have won the Grand Prize. We would like to thank all the sponsors, supervisors, PIs and supporters who made this possible. Words cannot express our gratitude! iGEM Headquarters

I'm incredibly proud of my iGEM Headquarters team, who won the Grand Prize along with 4 special prizes & 2 additional nominations! This Grand Prize is a perfect conclusion and ending to my time in Marburg, where I've had the honor of being the iGEM Marburg 2024 instructor for the past 6 years.

Attending the 2024 iGEM Headquarters Grand Jamboree and seeing so many groundbreaking ideas was unforgettable! I’m incredibly proud of my team for their hard work 🎉 Winning the Grand Prize is the ultimate reward. It has been an honor to supervise such a passionate group of students.
