New NPA Photography pupils are getting to understand how to use our digital cameras. Each learner has taken a range of photographs to look back upon as their starting point of a new creative arts journey.  We are eager to see where their learning takes them. #successfullearners

This S6 learner demonstrated basic sewing skills to some of our new Fashion and Textiles pupils. It is such a joy to hear how confident our young people are, and how respectful these other learners in listening carefully to what she had to say. #effectivecontributor

It’s a world upside down!  We upended the tables last week to create animation hammocks for the iPads.  These 'soon to be' S6 leavers enjoyed a short session in StopMotion animation. #creativity #successfullearners

These N2 Creative Arts learners were using numeracy to design a monster in class this week. Excitement was building each time as they rolled a digital die.  This would decide what feature they would have to draw. #successfullearners

We are so lucky to have Hobbycraft on our doorstep.  One of these learners even used their numeracy skills to work out how much it would cost to knit an item and then pay someone a living wage to make it ....  It would cost over £100! #successfullearners #skillsforlife

The school garden is looking lovely 🍓 Thanks to all our classes for doing such a wonderful job. As a community we have enjoyed the fruits of the garden this week - strawberries, raspberries and fresh herbs at the height of their bounty. The RHS #learningforsustainability
