Dublin City University very own Prof Maura Conway Maura Conway Law and Gov DCU among the authors of this really important report. Researcher safety needs to be a central concern of universities’ approach to research integrity.

Delighted to launch our new Research Impact website. Great case stories of how published research from each of Dublin City University ’s five faculties is leading to real impacts on policy, the economy, climate and society. dcu.ie/research-impact

Carice van Houten, who played Melisandre the Red Woman on Game Of Thrones, was arrested in the Netherlands yesterday. The actress was apart of a group of environmental activists who blocked a road for a protest demonstration. She was also drenched with a water cannon by police.

23 @dcu staff nominated as Research Allies out of 68 nationally - a terrific affirmation of academics, research officers, professional & technical staff who go the extra mile to mentor, supervise, support and encourage. Real Dublin City University values. Congrats all.

Yesterday’s attack was appalling. The far right mobilisation afterwards was all too predictable. North and south on the island the 2 Gov’s & police services have not taken the far right seriously. We need to stand together, condemn racism in all its forms.

Finally, some years of work and engagement have materialised in this encyclopedia of #STS. Many thanks to the + 90 authors who contributed! And what a pleasure it has been to go on that adventure with Alan Irwin - thanks for being such a great colleague, conspirator and friend!
