Played the GC (against my better judgement). Was decent fun - wouldn't say we're back but it's more of a possibility than before :)

I wouldn't normally share non-VGC here, but I've had a couple of people ask me how it went so: I ran my seventh marathon at Chester last weekend in 2:36:35 and qualified for the UK Championship! I've put lots into running in the last few years and was really happy with this 🥳

I'm trying very hard to treat every game of VGC as a learning experience at the moment, but man; every GC, almost regardless of how I did, I end up feeling like I wasted my weekend. I just don't find it very much fun at all.

6-2 today at Seville having had a lot of fun (just don't mention the stream set). Bonkers day 1 honestly, almost everyone was extremely capable and at the very least made me sweat. We'll see what's in the tank tomorrow.

Made cut at Seville. Got a game loss for an old rental version of the team on my cart that escaped notice in check yesterday, I made one mistake in game "3" of T32 and that was it. Team was incredible, I felt I could easily have run deep. This one is going to hurt for a while.

Finished 9-3 for 24th. Exceeded my expectations enormously this weekend, but even so a little sad I couldn't take it further. Another near miss to add to the pile. Looking forward to the rest of the season!
