Yet another client down almost 20lbs in the first 6 weeks of his program. Once you have a clear plan AND the accountability to actually execute on it, efficient progress is inevitable.

Wife’s best friend’s wedding last night was a blast. Broke all the “rules”. I drank alcohol. I got a serving of everything from the buffet. I even ate dessert! đŸ˜± You don’t have to live like a monk to stay fit

You won’t get in shape until your weekend diet looks EXTREMELY similar to your weekday diet. 4-5 “good” days every week simply isn’t going to cut it.

As time goes on getting in shape is only going to put you further and further ahead. Just take a look around when out in public and you’ll see what I mean.

Can’t hit 5 workouts this week? Do 3. Can’t hit 10K steps today? Do 8K. Can’t hit the gym for an hour? Do 30 minutes. If you want to get & stay fit, you must drop the all or nothing mentality. Something is ALWAYS better than nothing.

You’re not too old. You can make the time. Your genetics probably aren’t “bad”. You won’t have to eat chicken, broccoli, and rice every meal. You don’t have to live in the gym every day. Stop it with the BS. You are 100% capable of getting in the best shape of your life.

So your weight has crept up over the years. Is it your fault? Probably, but shit happens. Doesn’t matter now. What matters is you recognizing it’s your responsibility to make better choices & improve your health. Own your problems or they will own you.
