Being a High School Football Coach is one of the hardest jobs in coaching because you still have to develop players! Most colleges coaches would rather hit the portal than develop a player.

My advice to all coaches Coach everyone the same Prepare everyone the same Give everyone a shot Players respect players that make plays in games not practice Coach Bill

Almost time to put up are shut up! All that loud talking in practice, all that looking cute, all that fake energy goes away quickly when the ball is spotted! It take Dawgs to fight Dawgs!

I like them dawgs that’s tied up on a chain and can only come out when the owner is home! In other words it’s different kind of dawgs! I told Coach yesterday that friendly dogs get you beat mean Dawgs get you championships!

I remember when I meet their parents at a Jr high track meet I told them their babies were special. They spend a lot of time at my crib with Zoe and believe me they check every box! They love God and have a lot of wisdom to be so young!

My take on UTRGV Football and Sul Ross 1. Travis Bush is exactly what I thought “genius” 2. QB Eddie can flat out spin it 3. #4 is a legit WR1 4. Defense fly around and play with bad intentions We have to run the ball better. Opps don’t take this team lightly they can play!

This is why I always tell coaches don’t be so quick to throw aside players that remain loyal even when they’ve been mistreated you just might need them to bail you out and save your job!
