Privileged to visit the final resting place of former Whitehouse Farm, Springthorpe resident Archie Fred Lidgett in Fromelles today. He fought for Australia and was killed on 19th July 1916 🇬🇧🇦🇺

The first British soldier killed in World War 1 (John Parr) is buried 5 yards away from the last Brit killed (George Ellison) 🇬🇧🇬🇧 Apparently a coincidence, if so it’s a remarkable one 💪
