Yesterday was the first George Washington Carver Day in Iowa. We can be proud of the opportunity and education provided him so that he become one of the greatest agricultural scientists. Thank you to the Legislature and Gov. Kim Reynolds for enacting this recognition.

Roger Lacey our long time Service Manager Sukup Manufacturing Co. stopped by for a tour by his successor. Roger was amazed by the growth and told of Eugene bringing in a new kid just out of high school as his new serviceman - Tom Jensen. Both are in the picture.

Today we buried Roger Lacey, longtime Service Manager Sukup Manufacturing Co.. He could fix any stirring machine. He was an early employee and worked for us for 45 years. Dad said he was the fastest serviceman he ever had - and he had the speeding ticket to prove it!
