People in #Sudan are facing unimaginable horrors and need our help right now. The world must wake up! Sign this call urging the UN’s chief António Guterres to stand bravely with survivors. secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en/pr…

I am very concerned about the postponement of the latest phase of the polio vaccination campaign in northern Gaza as a result of escalating violence & a lack of access. We must stop the polio outbreak before more children are paralyzed and poliovirus spreads further.

What exactly is the problem with Kampala? It simply drizzles, and floods follow… and again, and again… And the next floods still find us without having learnt from the previous… as if floods are happening for the first time… What’s evading us?

A highlight of any #Uganda #roadtrip is the random stop for fruits & veg. In Kibuku District eastern UG we buy big oranges from #Soroti, tamarind pods, & soursop, a weird-looking fruit that’s jam packed with vitamins. Markets give a unique taste of a new place. #ExploreUganda

As if pilgrims don't have enough medical complaints after their arduous journeys, now we add damaged sight to the list! Banange - remember what we advised in 2013 when we watched the solar eclipse in Pakwach? DON'T LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THE SUN! muzungubloguganda.com/adventure/safa…
