Aid workers must never be a target. The tragic incident in Gaza adds to a long list of humanitarian workers killed while doing their jobs: 400+ in Gaza, 80+ in Sudan in just the past two years. These attacks violate humanitarian law and must stop. There must be accountability.

Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking with John Haltiwanger Foreign Policy about the dramatic impact of recent U.S. foreign aid cuts.

Today marks two years since the conflict in #Sudan began. Over 12 million people have been forced to flee, and 30 million are in need of assistance as severe hunger turns into famine. There is no solution but an immediate halt to the fighting. The suffering must end.
