UPDATE: CPD has arrested the suspect connected to a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery that occurred on 10/4/25. The same suspect is also charged with Aggravated Robbery for another bank robbery committed on 10/6/25. MORE: bit.ly/46EnBPn

Did you know CPD's Drone Unit launched in 2022 with 4 operators? Today, we have 13. During its first year, the Drone Unit responded to 30 calls. This year they've already received 200 calls for service, including crash investigations, SWAT calls, and special events (like IRONMAN)

This World Mental Health Day, we’re highlighting the work of our Crisis Co-Response Unit. So far in 2025, the unit has responded to 457 calls, providing on-scene support to people experiencing mental health crises. Most of those encounters ended with safety plans.
