Sam Wright extended his lead in the U20 heptathlon with 7.09m to top the long jump standings. Now on 1707 after two events.

Despite Luke Pichler's valiant effort in taking the 1000m win, Sam Wright was just behind to cling on to gold by just 24 points with 5129.
