Our work would not be as efficient and effective if it were not for modern equipment, like CEM Corporation and Biotage peptide synthesizers purchased thanks to Narodowe Centrum Nauki grants. Our PhD students had opportunity to work with the devices and they will soon present the results.

7 weeks of waiting for grant reviews after rejection. Hoped for feedback to learn from, yet there's hardly any. Surprisingly, 2 years ago I got higher marks and more feedback for a rushed proposal written in 2 weeks. This time I took two months to write it. 1/n

This week I had a great time during the @emergenceoflife meeting on a small island in the lake Chiemsee. Fantastic organization and great interactions with other OoL focused researchers. Beautiful place. We also build a 5 m long DNA model out of magnets and plastic pieces.
