Thanks Frank Leibfarth for the great lecture recently given as part of Center for Integrated Catalysis's webinar series. If you missed out on Frank's talk, never fear! You can check it out on our YouTube channel!👇 youtube.com/watch?v=bYQX7B…

Great talk from Mark Levin from The University of Chicago today Boston College Chemistry! Thanks Mark for a very thought provoking seminar!

Check out Byers Lab's first foray into chemical recycling now out in Angewandte Chemie! Congrats to Connor and Kyle for discovering a simple and general catalyst system for the depolymerization of high ceiling temperature polyesters and polycarbonates! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…

Jeff Jeffery Byers was a mentor, teacher, collaborator, researcher, and most importantly, colleague and friend to us all Boston College Chemistry Boston College. There are no words that can describe the tremendous loss because of his passing. His research and teaching will be forever remembered

A remembrance and celebration of life event will be held on September 10 for Jeffery A. Byers, an award-winning Boston College Chemistry professor and researcher of sustainable chemistry who strived to inspire budding scientists. In Memoriam: on.bc.edu/3QUlpff

To broaden metalloradical catalysis (MRC) beyond the use of Co(II)-based metalloradical catalysts, we describe Nature Chemistry systematic studies that establish the operation of Fe(III)-based MRC for asymmetric cyclopropanation. doi.org/10.1038/s41557… #MetalloradicalCatalysis

This is a bitter-sweet moment. Jeff Jeffery Byers left a strong legacy and very big shoes to fill in. Grateful to be part of this work. Thank you to Bill Thompson and Buddhima Maldeni for leading this project, and Shustova Group for the opportunity to collaborate! Boston College Chemistry

Happy to share Elise and Tarah's work now out Angewandte Chemie!

Glad to see Everett's work finally out. Everett pushed our lab capabilities by developing entropic potential and in situ electronic conductivity measurements to reveal Li ordering during intercalation in Wadsley-Roth block phase materials Boston College Chemistry pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
