Stand by for 24 hours of Farage promotion without scrutiny. You have to hand it to him- to be a politician who gets treated like a commentator celebrity is a real achievement. But only possible with a media that prefers spectacle to scrutiny, and major parties that have never

Liberal Democrats have overtaken the Conservatives at these local elections. Now we're on track to replace them next General Election as well. People have put their faith in us because they are appalled by the Conservatives lurching to extremes and cosying up to Nigel Farage.

It will probably come as no surprise to anyone to hear that Nigel Farage’s Reform UK ‘manifesto’ has been branded “unserious” and “unhinged” leftfootforward.org/2025/05/nigel-…

This is a barefaced lie, so everyone's clear. Not one penny is being taken away from disadvantaged children – not through transitional protections, not through pupil premium, not through related school funding. Really desperate stuff from a lost party sliding into oblivion.

What Trump is doing in the US, Farage wants to do here. The same racism, the same shady donors, the same technocracy, the same brutality, the same clampdown on human rights, the same white supremacy, the same idiocy, the same insider trading. The same fucking playbook.

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train. But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK. Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.

The MPs standing up to Starmer’s welfare bill aren’t “rebels”. They’re just proper Labour MPs. They’re not protesting they’re acting in accordance with Labour values. It’s a disastrous cruel bodge job and they should bin it. Not because of polling, but basic morality.

Simply making Amazon pay their tax in the UK would be enough to pay for lifting the 2 Child Benefit Cap. Amazon have a Revenue of £27bn in the UK but usually pay NO tax at all.
