Things are changing! I step down from Chester Bach Singers in March 2025 after 30+ years. My successor Cantiones Choir starts in Jan. Not disappearing! I’ll concentrate on writing/promoting my own music Composers Edition & still teach singing at Manchester Uni martinbussey.co.uk

Hugely looking forward to my last ‘devised’ concert with Chester Bach Singers Hildegard next to Wagner & Verdi; Imo Holst with Mascagni and VW Toward the Unknown Region; Eleanor Daley & music for Santiago. Ends with my Rossetti setting ‘A Life’s Parallels’: ‘looking back, ah never!’
Super reh Chester Bach Singers last night desp rain (start like pub scene in Grimes). Big focus: Ralph Vaughan Williams Society #RVW setting of Whitman’s poem of spiritual exploration. Then Rossetti setting Composers Edition from my 2022 St Marylebone Fest commission. Both sound brilliant. Sat @ 4 wesleychester
