The Red Poppy Festival is back, and I will be out and about throughout the entire weekend. Whether in the parade, on stage with the big headliners and maybe even Bigfoot, or at our Meet and Greet at Daytripper World Headquarters I hope I get to see you and say hello!

As a mecca of both romance and modern fashion, it may come as no surprise that the cuisine in Paris is just as elevated... Cheese, crêpes, cappuccinos, and croissants? S'il vous plait!

Among the Piney Woods in Deep East Texas, Jasper is an incredibly charming, small town of about 7,000 folks whose homes are hidden beneath a beautiful canopy of pine trees. Needless to say, its moniker, the “Jewel of the Forest,” is well deserved. loom.ly/Vj66JNw

Texas highways have given me thousands of unforgettable adventures — and now I get to give back. Proud to support the 40th anniversary of the Texas #AdoptAHighway program. I’ve adopted my own 2-mile stretch — you can too. Help keep Texas beautiful 👉DontmesswithTexas.org/Adopt-a-Highway #AAH40

Did you know the first Coca-Cola in Texas was served in 1887 at the Collegiate Shop in Paris, Texas? The shop was located on the east side of the two-story Bywaters Building, at 11 S. Plaza.

In 1856, The U.S. Army needed a way to move supplies. This was before trains, so the solution....camels. Shipped in from Arabia on boats and brought to TX, and based at Camp Verde. During the Civil War, the camels were released, so you just might find one wandering the TX plains.

Wonder what exactly was going on 7,000 years ago in Big Bend that someone needed some wooden darts, a boomerang, and some spear-throwing tools--used for delivering poison. Who we hunting? See more on the Talkin' Texas podcast on YT.
