Austin's New Genesis Assembly of God Baptist Church, 1400 N. Laramie Ave., received a final landmark recommendation from the Landmark Commission today. Built from 1924 to 1949, the eclectic Neo-Gothic church features a distinct four-story bell tower with bells cast in 1898.
