Congrats to Victoria Royals Jayden Kraus for winning the Victoria Police Community Service Award for his community engagement efforts. Jayden is a great leader on & off the ice. Humble, respectful & community minded. If he’s not wearing skates, it’s socks!

You can’t make this stuff up. Blatant disregard for the law and our court system. Imagine, you’re in Supreme Court, and later convicted for drug trafficking, and you go out & sell drugs during Court recess times. Well, it happened. Great job Victoria Police Strike Force.

Join me in congratulating the 2025 Victoria Police and Oak Bay Police Reserve Class graduates. Some of our new VicPD Reserves will be deployed at tomorrow’s Times Colonist 10K Run. Great group of committed volunteers who believe in service to their communities. #proudchief

A family friendly Khalsa Day celebration in Victoria complete with a multitude of food vendors. A great community event. Shoutout to the organizers for welcoming Victoria Police officers & volunteers. Our VicPD tent was a popular stop for many. #CommunityEngagement #HappyVasaikhi

Our heartfelt condolences to the Philipino community & all those impacted by the tragedy in Vancouver. Victoria Police officers dropped by to comfort our Victoria Philipino community at the Philippine Bayanihan Community Centre. So nice to see the local outpouring of love & support.

Love the TownshipOfEsquimalt Buccaneer Days Parade. Victoria Police joined in the fun. Such a great tradition in Esquimalt with festivities continuing over the weekend. VicPD at the judges table selecting the best parade entries & will be out celebrating the ESQ community spirit.

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms for always going above & beyond. You’re amazing! Thanks for your sacrifices, your guidance & most of all your endless love. A special shoutout to all Victoria Police moms, my wife, and my mom, who inspires me to this day. Love you mom!❤️

A great article by Victoria Police Inspector Conor King, a drug expert, regarding fentanyl & the role of organized crime networks.

Another great Victoria Day parade with large crowds & enthusiastic spectators both young and not so young. Great community spirit. Victoria Police marched in the parade & officers were also deployed to keep everyone safe. A great family-friendly community event.

Great job by Victoria Police Strike Force executing a search warrant at a supportive housing building. Recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, approx $40,000 cash & one kilo of fentanyl. To put it in perspective, one kilo of fentanyl is the equivalent of approx 500,000 lethal doses.

Public safety should always be top priority at every supportive housing building. This Times Colonist article summarizes my perspective. VicPD chief pushes for better tools to keep criminals out of supportive housing timescolonist.com/local-news/vic… via Times Colonist

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the Special Olympics BC Law Enforcement Torch Run. We love our Special Olympics athletes. They always inspire me to be better. Thanks to the Victoria Police officers who came out to support the Run & to Oak Bay Police for keeping everyone safe.

Mabuhay! Victoria Police at Centennial Square all weekend celebrating the rich Filipino culture at the 7th annual Filipino Festival. Great to meet 5 yr old Ramzi who was enjoying the music, dance & amazing food. Nice to see so many families enjoying the festival. Come on down folks.

A big Victoria Police Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there who are kind, caring & great role models. Thank you! Dad joke: What do you call a detective who accidentally solves all his cases? Answer: Sheer Luck Holmes. I know, pretty lame eh? 😂

Grateful for the partnership between Victoria Police & Victoria HarbourCats. On Tue, I met the players, like I do every year, and welcomed them to Victoria & discussed player safety, leadership, & the importance of teamwork. Team went out and won 9-0. Coincidence? I think not.

I dropped by Mr. Flash’s G6/7 class at Cedar Hill Middle School to talk about Victoria Police policing. Smart, engaged students asked lots of great questions. Love the humour too. Student - “Do you eat donuts?” My response, “Yes, do I have icing on my face?” Love the thank you card.
