Member organizations of the Joining Forces coalition have gathered in Kampala this morning for the launch of their 2024-2026 strategy aimed at strengthening prevention and response systems that protect children from violence in Uganda.

Established in 2018, Joining forces in Uganda is a collaboration between six global members; World Vision , ChildFund Uganda , Plan International Uganda , Save the Children Uganda , SOS Children’s Villages, Terre Des Homes & World Vision. War Child Alliance became an affiliate member of the coalition

in Uganda in 2023. “Joining forces members have a collective footprint in 95 of the 135 (70%) of Uganda districts. Our collective voice of 7 is heard more loudly & provides weight in influencing policymakers & implementors,” says Richard Rumsey, Program Quality Director, WVuganda
