…. days to go for Royal International Air Tattoo! Come and see us at the RAF Village. We have these amazing patches from Dynamic Vectors as well as challenge coins from Challenge Coins UK. We also have members of the whole force from RAF Odiham to talk about their roles supporting the aircraft.

Due to ongoing global commitments, particularly in support of our NATO partners, we will not be conducting a full display this year. 2024 will see a reduced programme of role demonstrations, showcasing the aircraft’s incredible capabilities. Please watch this space for more.

It’s finally the time to introduce the Royal Air Force Chinook Role Demo for the 24 season. Expect an action packed show which will include underslung loads, internally loaded vehicles and trooping with the team demonstrating the full capability of the aircraft.

The team will be supported by the Joint Helicopter Support Squadron (JHSS) Joint Helicopter Support Sqn who are responsible for the rigging of underslung loads, management of landing sites and passengers, they are essential to the delivery the Chinook capabilities.
