Had a great day on placement at Turning Point Scotland creating a sensory board for the inclusion team with my superstar peer partner Joy Akpanumoh_OT 🌟 hopefully leaving a lasting legacy on our role emerging placement!

Second day of sensory board building at Turning Point Scotland amazing to see mine and Joy Akpanumoh_OT little baby come to life. PS I did not injure myself or anyone else with the drill remarkably 😅

Final day of placement at Turning Point Scotland Grateful for every moment spent learning about supporting individuals with learning disabilities as an #OT. Immensely thankful for the invaluable lessons and experiences gained.

Had a great day doing my case study presentation, exploring a patient on my case load through an occupational justice lens. Truly shows the importance of exploring not just healthcare but wider societal barriers being faced & our role to be change makers & advocators.

Last reflection of placement completed, crazy to think 9 weeks ago I was filled with fear at doing my first mental health placement to now thinking this is an area I would love to explore more once qualified! Always stay open-minded and embrace the journey.
