Excellent seminar of Prof. Bryan R. Goldsmith from the University of Michigan. His achievements in #NitrogenReductionReaction are worth to follow!

Honored to be elected a fellow of American Physical Society + thankful for the many contributions of my group members and coworkers to chemical physics and my career physics.illinois.edu/news/three_ele…. Congrats also to University of Illinois colleagues Emily Edwards Illinois Quantum Information Science & Tech Center & Nico Yunes Illinois Physics

Congratulations to the following authors for their first publication in JPCC. Let's hope there are many more in their future! 1/3 Aaron Kenny-Wilby and Gyorgy Jaics's study of plasmonic semiconductors using MCD The Journal of Physical Chemistry University of Waterloo pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Check out our Nature Reviews Chemistry article on time-resolved electron microscopy: rdcu.be/c6asL with Renske van der Veen. Congrats to Frank Alcorn Chemistry at Illinois MaterialsResearchLab University of Illinois

Our Chemistry at Illinois undergraduate researchers shine! Congrats to Aidan Lindsay for being named a Barry M. Goldwater scholar and to Molly Deely for receiving the John E. Gieseking Scholarship for UG research. Both mentored by Chloe Litts who recently achieved PhD candidacy.

Tracking gold-copper nanoparticles using a dynamic environmental transmission electron microscope equipped for laser excitation shows them Ostwald ripening under plasmonic excitation. Findings are out in The Journal of Physical Chemistry pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10… Congrats to Frank Alcorn & @mayachatt_

Time to celebrate the team: Congrats Chloe Litts for receiving Peixin He & Xiaoming Chen PhD4 Graduate Fellowship + Univ Block grant, Omar for Robert F. Carr Fellowship in Chemistry, Sreelekshmi Venu for John & Margaret Witt Fellowship, & Wenxin Zhang for Racheff Teaching Fellowship
