Coach Nick runs a conditioning session every Thursday in January and February, from 7:30 to 9:00 in the auxiliary gym.

Since school is closed tomorrow (Thursday, January 23) conditioning is cancelled.

The Thursday night conditioning time has slightly changed...it will take place from 7:00 to 8:15 in the auxiliary gym for the rest of Feb.

Make sure you have your paperwork handed in and ready to go for tryouts on March 1!

For the last two weeks of February, conditioning will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:15.

There will be a meeting for all prospective softball players on Thursday, February 27, at 3:10 in the media center. Bring your paperwork.

We had a great first day of softball tryouts yesterday. The weather does not look good for tomorrow but hopefully we can continue soon.

Because of tomorrow's snow day, Chopticon softball tryouts are cancelled. We will resume the next day there is school. Stay safe, everybody!

SMCPS schools closed again Tuesday... tryouts resume the first day back...if we are outside, the time is 3:10; if inside, the time is TBA.

If there is school on Wednesday, tryouts will happen in the auxiliary gym from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening.

The Chopticon varsity softball team has flown out of the gate this year with a 6-1 record, including a victory over state champion Northern.

Varsity Softball plays Lackey in a road game on Monday. There will be an optional batting practice at 1:00 that day at our softball field.

The Chopticon varsity softball team now has a record of 8-1 and the JV softball team is 6-2.

With their victories over Thomas Stone and Huntingtown last week, the Chopticon varsity softball team now has a record of 13-1.
