NO DOPPLER? NO PROBLEM! Here in a recent paper we propose that in cuffs between 9-13 cm, use of 1.3x brachial systolic BP is a decent surrogate for 100% LOP. bSBP can be used for ~80% LOP whereas 100 mmHg is around 60%. Link: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36640776/

BIODEX (or Dynamometer users) - I’m reaching out about Hip Flexion / Extension assessments in lying supine position. I can only seem to achieve 70-80deg ROM due to limitations of seat position & padding attached to the dyno arm. Pic attached for ref (this is not total Ext range)

Our latest study showed that it takes ⬇️ time to recover from a session of ISO than heavy weights training. Hence, coaches may use ISO during periods of ⬆️ volume sports training or when closing in to the competition to minimise fatigue. glynhowatson link.springer.com/article/10.100…
