Skateboarding is present in urban spaces, and remains so as other more mainstream actors retreat. This fact, plus our resilience & creativity, means we've "held the line" in youth engagement etc. even as alot of other stuff has fallen away. We should collectively be proud of this

In previous years' surveys, you've told us that you want to see more arts & creative workshops (we delivered 15 Creative Club sessions in 2024); and that you'd like more opportunities to exhibit and publish your work (we delivered a major group exhibition with BACKLIT)

BACKLIT Previous surveys also indicated that: you'd like to see more community-led repair of outdoor skateparks (we delivered regeneration workshops at Standhill, Arnold and Colwick skateparks in 2024); and more women & girls' sessions (we delivered 27 Skate Hive sessions in 2023-24).

This is why we need a strategic approach to #skateboarding in #Nottingham, something we've been campaigning for since 2018.
