This week, our Labour government showed it’s serious about clean power – a mission led by working people in communities across Britain, building a new age of energy. The Spending Review gives that mission the backing it needs. Here's how 👇🏿

A brilliant day in Scotland with Ian Murray MP discussing how our UK Government Spending Review is delivering the largest real terms settlement for Scotland since devolution began. We’re investing in the renewal of Britain to make people better off. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great to visit the Bee Network bus depot in Bolton, home to so many Scottish-made buses! If the Mayor of Greater Manchester can buy Scottish buses, why can’t the SNP?

So fab to see the UK Government and SoS Ian Murray MP supporting Edinburgh’s cultural scene. Only sad that our recently-departed friend Val Walker isn’t here to see this. Nobody fought for the Filmhouse more than she.

Darren is right. Yesterday I was in Calais meeting the French Border Police. They told me heart-stopping stories of women & children crushed in the boats, drowning and dying. The Gvt must do all it can to stop the small boats: to protect the border and protect human life.

Quitting the *Scottish Affairs* committee to spend more time campaigning for yourself… … and we’re supposed to believe you’re “stronger for Scotland”??

Tomorrow at 10.30am, we'll question Baroness Casey on the findings of her audit of group-based child sexual abuse. What steps will need to be taken now the Government has committed to holding a national inquiry into group-based child sexual abuse? Watch on Parliament Live.

Thank you to Chris for chairing and to Luke for sharing insights. The event explored how to have more constructive conversations about immigration–a key priority raised by members at our inaugural meeting, where they discussed the challenges of effective engagement on this issue.
