A Book of Condolences has been opened today in the cathedral for the People of Gaza.

Donations can be made to the relief work currently being carried out by Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders) in Gaza.

As of last night, 1,900 people are dead and 40,000 are injured as a result of the bombardment; of which 20 percent are children.

The book will remain open for 20 days and will be presented to the Palestinian Consulate in Dublin, with a copy sent to the Israeli Embassy.

The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne are limbering up currently in the cathedral. Doors open in half an hour for an exquisite night of music.

Incredible atmosphere around the cathedral for Harvest Festival. It's so good to see people having fun and enjoying our city.

In celebration of Culture Night, the Cathedral will be opening its doors this evening from 6pm - 8.30pm. All are welcome to come along.

Experiencing the Cathedral after dark is a memorable experience, and Dean Maria Jansson will give a talk on the building at 7.30.

This is, of course, entirely free of charge and we hope to see many of you - whether you're a regular visitor or have never been inside.
