I think I found the geekiest hotel room in Berlin. It has 6 sockets and 6 USB chargers. Even I don’t have that many devices.

This culture is not getting fixed by putting a Union Jack on the side of a train and calling it Great British Railways. This needs strong leadership without constantly making excuses for discriminating disabled people.

I’m speaking out because cutting PIP would be devastating. It’s been my lifeline — helping me live independently and build a comedy career. Without it, I wouldn’t have managed. This is about dignity, not just money. These cuts are dangerous. Stop #TakingThePIP. TakingThePIP

The highly modern and accessible charging solution at the German capital’s 7 billion airport. There are cables on the high table. 🤯 Yes, this was irony.

“Don’t forget to load the wheelchair again like last time” is really reassuring to hear at a departure gate. Not. 😂

BER is hopelessly understaffed even for Germany. They argue now if the man with a foot and knee injury and visibly in pain gets boarding assistance because “he hasn’t booked”. I guess he didn’t plan his injury either. This booking obsession is even harming non-disabled people.

Agreed. And the Equality Act is a 24/7 law. And sending a cab with an ETA of 0037 when you informed the train operator at 2311 you intend to travel on a 25 minutes journey, isn’t a reasonable adjustment for anything.

Annoyed to find that Heathrow Airport is slipping back into its old bad habits, leaving disabled passengers still waiting for a high-lift to turn up so we can get off the plane, long after all others have disembarked. Other airports can manage. C’mon Heathrow, get a grip!

An English idiom about facing the consequences of one’s actions is “you made your bed, now lie in it.” In Italian, an equivalent phrase is hai voluto la bicicletta? Adesso pedala! It means “you wanted the bicycle? Now pedal it!”
